Stemnitsa - Mythical Arcadia - 4 days

After 200 km and about 3 hours drive from Athens, you reach Belleiko Guesthouse in Stemnitsa.
Today start early for a beautiful walk at the gorge. We have prepared 2 different routes to choose.
Route A: Park the car west of Stemnitsa, at the Metamorfosi of Sotiros Church (Church of the Transfiguration of the Savior), and from there enjoy the wonderful view of the gorge and Lucius River. From there walk to the impressive Monastery of Agios Ioannis the Baptist and go down throught the gorge of Lucius to ancient Gortys which is located on the right bank of the river. Return from the same path. Fear not that you get bored as evrything seems different on the way back.
Walking distance: 5 km
Then pay a visit to the Open Air Museum of Hydrokinesis while driving back to Dimitsana.
Route B: Additionally to the route A after driving to the Open Air Museum, drive half an hour to Filosophou Monastery and walk from the Palea Moni Filosophou and back. In order to go from one monastery to the other descent sharply to Lucius gorge and ascend again through another slope. A beautiful, short but tough ride, due to the altitude difference!

Today enjoy the blue waters of the Arcadian rivers. Row in the waters of the narrow gorge, while the lush vegetation, the natural springs and the beautiful arched bridges enchant you.
Travelling back home is always boring but after this trip your batteries will be fully charged.

The guesthouse owes its name to its owner, Bellas by name. A traditional stone house with endless views. Fascinating landscapes of divine beauty. It has two floors and different types of rooms. They all have a fireplace and lovely views.

Includes rafting from the Vlachorapti base along with:
- Coffee or tea break
- If you are more than 8 people, a meal can be prepared with an extra charge of 7 euros per person.
- All the necessary local transfers from the base in Vlachoraptis until the beginning of the river descent for the implementation of the activity
- Certified Trekking Hellas river guides

Most likely you will be travelling by car, but the public pus (KTEL) to Tripoli can also be an option. From Tripoli you can use a taxi to your first accommodation. Kindly note that there is extra charge for the local transfers.
Remember that in order to visit the monasteries a skirt is required.
The minimum number of participants for the rafting experience is 4. Extra shoes, swimwear and dry clothes will be needed. Also, if children come, we want to know their ages. Finally, a minimum number of 8 people is essential in order to organize lunch.
The Open Air Museum of Water Power highlights the importance of water mobility in the traditional society. The Museum operates:
